Police responded to a (4) four vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but vehicles were removed by tow. 6/26/08 THEFT – 1000 Stony Hill Rd at the Hampton Inn, reported at 10:09PM. Victim reported that $600 in cash was missing from the room. 6/25/08 THEFT – 1400 block Scarlet Oak Rd reported at 6:43AM. Victim reported that $1,000 in cash was taken from the residence. The theft may have occurred on 6/24 between 8:30PM and 10:00PM while away from the residence. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 100 block Hyde Park Pl reported at 10:52AM. Victim reported that someone egged the vehicle overnight, possibly by a known person. 6/23/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Heather Ln and Kenneth Ln reported at 9:56PM. Complainant reported that juveniles removed a street sign and left it in the 1400 block of Heather Ln. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-532 and Stoopville Rd at 6:41PM. Police responded to a minor two vehicle accident. RETAIL THEFT / ARREST – 1641 Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh, reported at 5:39PM. A store employee reported that a person took items from the store, but dropped them and fled on foot toward US Route 1. Police located the suspect on Route 1 and was taken into custody and processed. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and Makefield Rd at 10:26AM. Police responded to a three vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but all three were towed. FRAUD – 2000 block S. Crescent Blvd reported at 3:57PM. Complainant reported being advised by their bank Wachovia, that someone or a company were doing about 15 to 20 test transactions on line totaling about $25.00. 6/22/08 DUI / ARREST – River Rd at 2:00AM. Police stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Pine Grove Rd and Big Oak Rd at 12:46PM. Police responded to a four vehicle accident with minor pain reported. Two vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. 6/21/08 SUSPICIOUS OCCURRENCE – 500 block River Rd reported at 10:15AM. Complainant reported that a green Saab exited from the driveway and upon checking his; the complainant noticed that the gas cap had been removed. THEFT – 100 block Old Oxford Valley Rd at Bucks County International, reported at 11:49AM. Company officials reported that 75 used truck batteries were taken from an open trailer located at the rear of the property. The value of items taken is about $1,080. An employee of the business noticed a Ford pick up several hours earlier on I-95 and it was loaded with batteries. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Heacock Rd and Covington Rd at 4:45PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injury reported and both vehicles being towed. UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – Rose Hollow Development at the Community Pool, reported at 12:20AM. Police were advised that several persons jumped the fence to use the pool after hours. Police located a two 19 year old females swimming in the pool and they both had been drinking. Citations were issued. PUBLIC DRUNK / CITATION – 500 block Thrush Ct reported at 3:27AM. Police responded to a residence after a 23 year old female broke out the rear window of a car of the male complainant. Police responded to the report of a disorderly person. The male from Newtown was using obscenities and made threats toward his boss, after being fired. SR-332 and I-95 – Two vehicles involved. 1100 block Gloria Ln – Minor one vehicle accident. DRUG ARREST – 1641 Big Oak Rd at the Kohl’s Dept. Store, reported at 11:05AM. Police received information that a motorist in the parking lot area of the Kohl’s is smoking marijuana. Police found the suspect vehicle and found evidence of drug activity. The female from Fairless Hills was arrested by police upon returning to her vehicle. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1700 block Makefield Rd at the Lutheran Church of Resurrection, reported at 10:18AM. Complainant reported that someone painted “Obama” on the roof of the building with an unknown material. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 1200 block Big Oak Rd reported at 4:00PM. Victim reported that an old farmhouse in the rear of the property was burglarized. The front door was kicked open between 9:00AM and 4:00PM this date. An antique purse and currency was taken. THEFT & FRAUD – 301 Oxford Valley Rd at the Makefield Executive Quarters, reported at 1:15PM. Victim reported that her ATM card was used in the amount of $903.50. The victim believes the ATM card was taken from her place of employment. 6/16/08 THEFT – 1000 block Buckingham Way reported at 12:45PM. Victim reported that someone entered the vehicle overnight and took about $40 worth of items, including change and car wash receipts. 6/15/08 THEFT - 1000 block Buckingham Way reported at 11:59PM. Victim reported that the vehicle was entered and a GPS unit valued at about $300 was taken. ATTEMPTED THEFT - 1000 block Buckingham Way reported at 12:00AM. Victim reported that a Hispanic male took a 20” Haro bicycle from a garage after asking for a ride to Trenton. Victim reported ID theft by account being used in Miami, FL. Police responded to a one vehicle accident after the driver failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. The vehicle rolled over and hit an unoccupied vehicle parked in the drive way. RETAIL THEFT - 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh, reported at 4:20PM. Store employees reported that $810.00 worth of baby formula was taken by a white male and female. Complainant reported leaving a cell phone on the counter at the store sometime after 3:00PM. It was gone when the complainant returned to get the cell. 100 block Aspen Rd reported at 11:44AM. Victim reported that $20 USC was taken from the vehicle overnight. VEHICLE THEFT – 1700 block Makefield Rd reported at 7:00AM. Victim reported that his 1993 Honda Civic was stolen over night. PUBLIC DRUNK & DISORDERLY CONDUCT – Delaware Canal by Black Rock Rd, reported at 8:01PM. Police received a report of a male drowning in the canal. It turned out he was riding his bicycle on the canal path and fell into the water. He was intoxicated. WANTED PERSON – U.S. Route 1 and Oxford Valley Rd at 5:48PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator from Philadelphia was wanted on bench warrant for Aggravated Assault and a Fugitive from Justice. Complainant reported that overnight person(s) jumped the fence to the yard and threw pool furniture into the pool. 6/7/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1700 block Dyers Ln reported at 7:45PM. Complainant reported finding a construction trailer with a damaged door knob and smashed fluorescent lights. The damage is estimated at about $100. 800 block Roelofs Rd reported at 1:16AM. Complainant reported that the vehicle was egged. Witnesses reported seeing a gray color minivan speed away from the area. DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 1300 block Dolington Rd reported at 11:11PM. Police responded to a report of vehicle leaving a party and as the car was exiting the property it struck another vehicle. The damage to both vehicles was minor, however, when the owner of the struck vehicle asked the operator of the striking vehicle for insurance information; he became confrontational. When police arrived the operator of the striking vehicle had already fled on foot. Police to issue non-traffic citations against the operator of the striking vehicle. TRESPASSING – 1300 block Lexington Dr reported at 2:51AM. Complainant reported that a group of teenagers climbed over the fence to the yard and were swimming in the pool. The subjects fled after being confronted by the homeowner. DUI / AUTO ACCIDENT / ARREST – 1700 block Dolington Rd at 1:11AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident after a 29 year old male from Newtown was involved. He was taken into custody and processed. 6/6/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1600 block Clydesdale Cir reported at 8:36PM. Victim reported that a windshield on the vehicle was damaged. The damage is consistent with a rock or ball being thrown at the windshield. The damage is estimated at about $300. 6/5/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-322 and Stony Hill Rd at 8:13AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with towing of the vehicles required. THEFT – 1600 block Big Oak Rd at Sovereign Bank, reported at 4:30PM. Complainant reported theft by deception, about $5,100.00 was taken from the bank. 6/4/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – River Rd and E. Ferry Rd at 7:50PM. Police responded to a two vehicle hit and run accident. Investigation revealed that the male operator from Morrisville disregarded the stop sign and struck another vehicle. The male operator of the struck vehicle sustained minor injuries to his face. The suspect (Striking Vehicle) was reported to be a 1998 white Dodge van and last seen being driven toward Morrisville. The investigation is continuing. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Covington Rd at 11:20PM. Police responded to a minor one vehicle accident. The operator ran off the road and drove another 700 feet without hitting anything else. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS: - Big Oak Rd and Anderson Rd at 7:47AM. DISORDERLY CONDUCT / CITATIONS – 1050 Stony Hill Rd at the Dunkin Donuts, reported at 11:50AM. A Bucks County Sheriffs Deputy observed a white male urinating in the parking lot at this location. The male was issued non-traffic citations. TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS / CITATIONS – SR-332 and I-95 at 2:19PM. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations and this led to other violations. The vehicle was towed and the operator issued numerous traffic citations. HOT ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE? 6/3/08 THEFT – 1100 block Gloria Ln reported at 8:32AM. Complainant reported that a political sign valued at $10 was taken overnight. 6/2/08 THEFT FROM VEHICLES: 600 block Bayberry Ln reported at 8:14PM. Victim reported that about $70 to $80 in cash was taken from the unlocked vehicle and this occurred sometime after 12:00AM on 6/1/08. The money was taken from a purse that was inside the vehicle. 500 block Nottingham Dr reported at 9:47AM. Victim reported that someone entered the unlocked vehicle and took a wallet, which contained credit cards, a firearms permit and an FAA license. THEFT OF VEHICLE – Unit block Pevsner Rd reported at 7:58AM. Victim reported that overnight their 2002 White BMW with P.A. registration plates was taken from the driveway. The vehicle contained a baby stroller, baby seat and a brown purse with several forms of identification. 5/31/08 ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 700 block Wynnwood Dr reported at 11:15AM. Victim reported that overnight someone entered their locked car, but it does not appear if anything was taken. There are marks on the side of the door, which indicate that some type of tool may have been used to gain entry; possibly a slim Jim. THEFT – 1000 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 12:25PM. Victim reported that a cell phone was taken on 5/25 or 5/26/08 and as of this date $80 worth of calls have been made. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd at 1:43PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident after a vehicle lost control in a rain storm and struck a PECO pole. The driver was injured and the car towed. DRUG POSSESSION / ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 4:22PM. Police stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator was in the possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into custody and processed. 5/30/08 DUI / ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 11:14PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Morrisville was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed. THEFT – 2000 block Farmview Dr reported at 7:40PM. Victim reported that three male juveniles entered the garage and took alcoholic beverages. Police located the juveniles at an address in the 2000 block of Dawn Lane and the property that was taken was recovered, plus four male juveniles were identified as taking part and will be charged.
