5/31/08 ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 700 block Wynnwood Dr reported at 11:15AM. Victim reported that overnight someone entered their locked car, but it does not appear if anything was taken. There are marks on the side of the door, which indicate that some type of tool may have been used to gain entry; possibly a slim Jim. THEFT – 1000 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 12:25PM. Victim reported that a cell phone was taken on 5/25 or 5/26/08 and as of this date $80 worth of calls have been made. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 400 block Stony Hill Rd at 1:43PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident after a vehicle lost control in a rain storm and struck a PECO pole. The driver was injured and the car towed. DRUG POSSESSION / ARREST – SR-332 and I-95 at 4:22PM. Police stopped a vehicle for motor vehicle violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator was in the possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into custody and processed. 5/30/08 DUI / ARREST – 200 block Oxford Valley Rd at 11:14PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male driver from Morrisville was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed. THEFT – 2000 block Farmview Dr reported at 7:40PM. Victim reported that three male juveniles entered the garage and took alcoholic beverages. Police located the juveniles at an address in the 2000 block of Dawn Lane and the property that was taken was recovered, plus four male juveniles were identified as taking part and will be charged. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries reported, but one car was towed. 5/28/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF / RECOVERED PROPERTY – Unit block Delavue Rd reported at 8:30AM. Complainant reported that about 60 assorted signs were placed on the property. 5/27/08 RETAIL THEFT – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the Super Fresh, reported at 6:30PM. Complainant reported that a male employee took some items from the store without making payment. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 301 Oxford Valley Rd at the Makefield Executive Quarters, reported at 7:16AM. Victim reported that between 3:00PM on 5/24 and today, someone shattered the front glass door to the property. IDENTITY THEFT – 1600 block Bluebird Ln reported at 1:03PM. Victim reported that a family member has subscribed to numerous publications using the victims name and other family members of the victim. This has occurred over a period of about two years and has totaled about $2,500 in charges. 5/26/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 301 Oxford Valley Rd at the Makefield Executive Quarters, reported at 9:32AM. Victim reported that between 1:30PM on 5/25 and today someone broke out the front glass door to the property causing about $750 in damage. 5/24/08 THEFT – 900 block Sensor Rd reported at 8:36PM. Victim reported that the mailbox was taken overnight. 5/22/08 NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor accidents on the day shift: - Taylorsville Rd - Spruce Mill Dr - Township Line Rd 5/21/08 DISORDERLY CONDUCT / CITATIONS – 600 block Springdale Terr at 1:00AM. Police responded to a hang up 9-1-1 call and while on location a vehicle drove down the roadway with no lights on and a flat tire. The driver observed the police vehicles and fled from the area. The operator of the vehicle was located on W. Trenton Ave and he was intoxicated and verbally abusive toward police. He was transported home and issued several citations for his actions. GRAFFITI – 700 Stony Hill Rd Giant Supermarket at 1:10PM. Police on patrol observed graffiti spray painted in light blue on the side of the supermarket. The words “war” and “DETH” were painted in the area of the loading docks. TRAFFIC OFFENSES – Unit block Oxford Valley Rd by US Route 1 at 1:40PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and the driver could not provide police with identification and gave partial name information. He was detained by police and was going to be taken to headquarters to be placed onto LIVE SCAN, so police could attain his identity. However, he provided his real name and his identification / driver’s license was under suspension. His vehicle was towed and he was issued numerous traffic citations. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Oxford Valley Rd and Roelofs Rd at 4:49PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with one driver having to be extracted from the auto after it rolled over. Both vehicles towed and injured taken to the hospital. 5/20/08 THEFT – 2100 block Stackhouse Dr reported at 7:38PM. Victim reported that she is missing money (coins) from a 5 gallon water container. Victim estimates that about ¾ of the money is missing from the container and probably amounts to about $300. Victim reported that between 6:30PM and 11:00PM this date someone entered the vehicle and took a briefcase and faceplate from the stereo. THEFT BY DECEPTION – 1600 block Yardley-Langhorne Rd at the CVS Pharmacy, reported at 12:45PM. Complainant reported that two white females and a white male returned what they believed to be stolen cosmetics for cash refunds. The incident’s occurred on 5/13 and 5/14/08 with the cash refunds totaling $225.00. The same actors attempted to return merchandise today, but the transaction was denied. PUBLIC DRUNK / ARREST – 1601 Big Oak Rd at the SuperFresh Market reported at 4:06PM. Complainant reported an intoxicated male harassing customer. Police located a 54 year old white male, who is homeless. He was taken into police custody for Public Drunkenness and processed. RETAIL THEFT – 700 block Stony Hill Rd Giant Supermarket reported at 4:53PM. Complainant reported that store surveillance cameras captured a male subject taking assorted razor blades and aspirin, with an estimated value of $800. The theft occurred on 5/18/08 and the suspect is described as white male, 30’s, with a stocky build, short dark hair, orange ball cap, glasses and wearing a baggy button up shirt. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and I-95 at 5:20PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries reported. THEFT FROM VEHICLE – 1200 block Wilton Crescent reported at 1:57PM. Victim reported that a Garmin GPS valued at $350 was taken from the unlocked vehicle between 5/16 and 5/17/08. 5/17/08 THEFT FROM VEHICLES: 1200 block Harrow Ct reported at 8:03PM. Victim reported that a train pass with a value of about $500 was taken from the unlocked vehicle; also gasoline was siphoned from the tank. 100 block Knightsbridge Dr reported at 9:50PM. Victim reported that overnight of 5/16, the unlocked vehicle was entered and a wallet containing credit cards, driver’s license and a $500 Lord & Taylor gift card was removed. 200 block Hyde Park Pl – Victim reported that two unlocked vehicles were entered and a GPS unit valued at $400 was taken. 1200 block Belgrave Crescent – Victim reported that the unlocked vehicle was entered and an MP3 Player and loose change with a total value of $100 were taken. 1200 block Thames Crescent – Victim reported that the unlocked vehicle was entered and a pair of sunglasses valued at $100 was taken. 200 block Hyde Park Pl – Victim reported that the unlocked vehicle was entered and a TomTom GPS valued at $150 was taken. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Mirror Lake Rd and SR-432 at 3:52PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injury reported. THEFT – 2100 block Polo Run Dr reported at 4:07PM. Victim reported that a safe was taken from the residence. The victim indicated a boyfriend was left alone in the residence and that he may have taken it. 5/16/08 RETAIL THEFT – 1601 Big Oak Rd SuperFresh Market reported at 7:34AM. Complainant reported that a quantity of Mach 3 razors and Tylenol were taken by a white male. The male fled the store and was picked up in an older white truck with damage on the passenger side. THEFT – 200 block Stony Hill Rd reported at 9:12AM. Complainant reported that a construction trailer was entered overnight. A computer printer and an Echo leaf blower with a total value of about $350 were taken. THEFT – Unit block Keats Rd reported at 2:56PM. Victim reported having friends over his residence. On today’s date he noticed that his wallet was missing. A PNC Bank credit card was used to purchase food at Wendy’s and also buy fuel. 5/15/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Cardinal Dr and Hawthorne Ln reported at 6:12PM. Victim reported observing racial slurs spray painted on the sidewalk outside the residence. Unit block McKinley Ave reported at 7:03PM. Victim reported that someone threw his bench and fence into the Delaware Canal. UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – 300 block W. Ferry Rd reported at 12:57AM. Police received a report of an underage drinking party. Police arrived and observed three persons leaving the residence; they were detained and given a portable breath test. All three males had positive readings and were issued citations. 5/14/08 CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Unit block McKinley Ave reported at 7:16PM. Victim reported that someone removed a portion of the homeowner’s split rail fence and threw it into the Delaware Canal along with a park bench. 5/13/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 1200 block Lindenhurst Rd at 4:43PM. Police responded to a 4 vehicle accident with no injuries reported, however, some of the vehicles had to be towed. NON-REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENTS – Police responded to several minor accidents on the day shift: 301 Oxford Valley Rd – 2 vehicles involved in the parking lot. Yardley Rd and Sutphin Rd – Bicycle vs. vehicle. No injuries reported. 5/13/08 SUSPECT ARRESTED – A suspect wanted in connection with the below robbery (4/28/08) and also several thefts that occurred on 4/24/08 in the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center has been taken into custody by the L.M.T.P.D. Detective Bureau. ROBBERY (from 4/28/08) – Makefield Rd at the Big Oak Exxon Station at 7:55PM on 4/28/08. The victim, an employee, reported he was robbed by a white male in his 20’s with short dark hair and last seen wearing a red shirt. He was last seen fleeing in a dark green mini van and he took about $250 to $300 cash from the station, he also frisked the employee taking a $1 from him. The suspect may have been caught on video surveillance. This was a strong arm robbery, no weapon was displayed, but the suspect had his hand under his shirt. 5/12/08 RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 300 block Twig Ln reported at 9:10PM. Police responded after the complainant reported that a white male, 6’0” with a thin build and wearing a dark colored sweatshirt was observed inside the garage. The actor was pursued on foot by the homeowner, who lost sight of the actor. The actor may have been picked up by a dark color sedan. Police observed a small sedan in the area of Emerald Dr and stopped it. The male occupants of the vehicle could not be positively identified by the complainant. The complainant called police again later in the night and reported a suspicious vehicle in front of the residence. When police arrived they found the car occupied and in plain view inside the vehicle were 2 twelve packs of beer. Also the driver of the car was observed wearing a sweatshirt that was consistent with the same described earlier that the actor in the garage had on. The incident is still under investigation. UNDERAGE DRINKING / CITATIONS – 300 block Twig Ln at 11:15PM. This incident is related to the above burglary. While police were investigating a suspicious auto that was called in by the homeowner, 2 twelve packs of beer were observed inside the car. The operator of the vehicle who is under 21 years of age will be cited for having possession of the alcohol. DRUG ARREST – I-95 and SR-332 at 5:59AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and as the officer approached the vehicle he detected an odor of marijuana. The male operator denied having any illegal contraband inside the vehicle. The operator opened the center console inside the car and in plain view police observed a baggie containing suspected drugs. The baggie contained 10 smaller baggies of crack cocaine. The operator was taken into custody by police and processed and the vehicle was impounded. Numerous charges are pending against the defendant. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and SR-332 at 5:38PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with towing required. 5/9/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Stony Hill Rd and Bluestone Dr at 10:06PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injury, towing was required. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Big Oak Rd and Ferry Rd at 4:57PM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident, car vs. a utility pole. The operator was transported to the hospital. 5/8/08 RETAIL THEFT – 590 W. Trenton Ave – CVS Pharmacy, reported at 12:21PM. Complainant reported that a black male, balding, 5’8” and wearing a dark jacket with blue jeans exited the store with his jacket stuffed with unknown items. The actor was last seen in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee heading south on route 13. NON-REPORTABLE ACCIDENT – I-95 and SR-332 at 6:20PM. Police responded to a minor two vehicle accident. 5/7/08 THEFT – 900 block N. Pennsylvania Ave reported at 7:51PM. Victim reported that a Diamond Back mountain bicycle valued at about $200 was taken from the garage. A neighbor observed a black male carrying the bike towards Trenton Ave. TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS / ARREST – Covington Rd and Aspen Woods Dr at 11:02PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and as the officer approached the car, the vehicle sped off. The vehicle turned onto a cul-de-sac and was boxed in by responding patrol units. The white female driver and black male occupant fled on foot into the development. The female was apprehended by police after a brief foot chase. A K-9 was deployed to track the occupant, but there was negative contact with him. The female driver is on probation for narcotics offenses and her probation will be violated. She was processed and arraigned. THEFT OF VEHICLE – 1500 block Kathy Dr reported at 1:55AM. Victim reported that his silver 2006 Honda CBR 600 RR motorcycle valued at $9,000; was taken from the front of the residence. Victim said he heard a van door slam shut and when he looked outside, his cycle was gone. 5/6/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Creamery Rd and Ash Ln at 8:34AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident; car vs. motorcycle. The operator of the cycle sustained moderate to serious injury. The accident is still under investigation. RETAIL THEFT / ARREST – 1601 Big Oak Rd at Kohl’s Dept. Store at 4:50PM. Store security detained a female from Langhorne for taking $204.00 worth of merchandise. She was released to the custody of the LMTPD and processed at headquarters. 5/5/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – 100 block Taylorsville Rd at 7:42AM. Police responded to a one vehicle accident. The operator sustained injury and the vehicle was towed. REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT – Dolington Rd and Quarry Rd at 9:42AM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with no injury reported, the vehicles were towed. DISORDERLY CONDUCT – River Rd and the Boat Access Ramp. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed a baggie of marijuana inside the car. The four occupants of the vehicle were all issued citations for the small amount. THEFT – 1500 block Candace Ln reported at 4:25PM. Victim reported that two white male’s just took a Red Max leaf blower valued at $600. They were last seen operating an older model white Nissan Maxima bearing a partial P.A. registration plate of FVV. 5/4/08 FOUND PROPERTY – Edgewood Rd and Railroad Crossing at 8:00AM. A small pink girls bicycle with white tires was found. Is anyone missing a bike? WANTED PERSON – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 10:09AM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator has an active felony warrant out of Orange County, Florida. He was taken into police custody by police. DISORDERLY CONDUCT CITATIONS – 1600 block Yardley-Langhorne Rd at 3:10PM. Police responded to a motorist dispute and one of the operators was cited for disorderly conduct after shoving the other motorist. THEFT FROM AUTOS: 1400 block Scarlet Oak Rd reported at 11:37AM. Victim reported that sometime after 11:00PM, someone entered the locked vehicle and removed an I-pod nano and an HP printer, with a combined value of about $250. There was no apparent forced entry to the vehicle. 1500 block Bud Ln – reported at 3:39PM. Victim reported that between 1:00AM and 4:00AM, someone entered the vehicle and removed a set of TIN G2 golf clubs, golf bag, golf shoes, winter gloves and summer gloves with a combined value of about $1,738.00. 5/3/08 DRUG ARREST – 500 block West Trenton Ave at 5:36PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the operator had false identification and was in possession of cocaine. He was taken into custody and processed. DUI / ARREST – SR-332 and Mirror Lake Rd at 7:23PM. Police stopped a vehicle for violations and further investigation revealed that the male operator was driving under the influence. He was taken into custody and processed. 5/2/08 THEFT FROM AUTO – 1200 block Madison Dr reported at 6:04PM. Victim reported that her wallet was taken from her purse that was left in the vehicle. The incident occurred between 5:10PM and 5:40PM. DUI / AUTO ACCIDENT – SR-332 and Stony Hill Rd at 10:08PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident and the operator of the striking vehicle was taken into custody for driving under the influence. UNDERAGE DRINKING CITATIONS – Unit block Tudor Ln at 12:20PM. Police received a report of a party and persons in the street. Upon arrival police found three persons inside the residence and none resided there. Several other persons fled the home from a rear door. Several citations for underage drinking are to be issued for those present inside the home. ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT – 500 block West Trenton Ave at the CVS, reported at 1:16PM. Complainant reported that on 3 previous occasions a black male, 40 to 50 years of age attempted to remove pain killers from the store. On the last occasion, a New Jersey tag was obtained as the actor left the store. RETAIL THEFT – 500 block West Trenton Ave at the CVS, reported at 2:16PM. Complainant reported that at about 12:30PM, a black male removed pain relievers and hair care products using a foil lined bag. The items taken are valued at about $3,000.00. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 1200 block Revere Rd reported at 3:08PM. Complainant reported that sometime on 5/1/08 in the afternoon, someone struck the mailbox; possibly with a vehicle. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – 500 block Heritage Oak Dr reported at 4:34PM. Victim reported that a rear window on the vehicle was broken out. The incident occurred on 4/30/08 at about 6:00PM. 5/1/08 REPORTABLE AUTO ACCIDENT (FATAL) – Yardley-Langhorne Dr and Hunt Dr at 2:20PM. Police responded to a two vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment. One of the operators has passed and the accident is currently under investigation by the LMTPD Accident Scene Unit.
